Walking for Veronica on May12th

Angles of Hope Brain Tumour Foundation team
An incredible $82 000 was raised during Ottawa's Spring Sprint on May 12th, our team alone raised over $30 000. We raised the most out of all teams in Canada.

Walking for Veronica had over 80 team members, each had connection with Veronica who lost her year long battle to a brain tumour this past spring. It was an emotional filled day and one that will continue to grow each and every year. Cheers to all of you who participated!

1st annual "Walking for Veronica" Saturday May 12th, 2007

Ottawa Spring Sprint in supprt of the Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada

Team Name: Angels of Hope
Veronica's life was enriched by the unwavering love and support of many friends and relatives who were such an important part of her life. Veronica fought her illness as she lived her life with courage, dignity and strength, with unrelenting determination (some say stubborness), a touch of humour, and surrounded by love. Inspired by Veronica, On May 12th we are walking in memory of her, as we raise money and awareness for Brain Tumour research.

Please join us at Vincent Massey Park for registration at 9 am.
